Jessica & Rick | Christmas-time in Chicago

Apparently “Windy City” doesn’t actually refer to the weather in Chicago at all. I’m not sure what that’s about..

But it was windy. It was cold. It was the most wonderful time of the year. Jessica and Rick’s coffees were warm and the streets around Millennium Park were busy. It was a beautiful time.

I’m glad I got the opportunity to drive up to Chicago for their engagement photos. They’re getting married at Big Cedar in 2020 and I was stoked to have this session to get to know them, and for them to grow comfortable with their photographer.
