Dancing in tall grass and skipping through fall leaves — near the Springfield Nature Center and Wilson’s Creek Battlefield — these sunset engagement photos for Mae & Jake turned out beautifully. I let them know the goal of the night wasn’t to get great photos — the goal of the night was for each of them to compete to see who could make the other one laugh the most.

I’d say both of them won.
