Mackenzie & Dannon | In Des Moines

Of course, living in Missouri, most of my sessions end up being outdoors — because we all know the midwest is abundant with beauty in nature.

Mackenzie and Dannon asked me to come take their engagement photos in Des Moines, Iowa. I was all in.

I always feel like I do my best work when I’m in a place that’s unfamiliar. Des Moines had so many fun spots downtown for us to take their engagement photos — the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge, plus our super dope cute AirBnb we ended up shooting in.
